The Lavender Tour-10 days, July 1-11, 2022

Imagine seeing the lavender fields of Provence in full bloom?  Our secret fields spill over with rows of lavender, wheat and vines in endless terraced hills.  We will visit them in the morning and again one evening at the "mauve hour" as the sun sets.   If the timing is right we may even get to see the hand harvesting of the lavender bouquets as we did last year!  Check out this video clip!

This summer we will stay at the foot of Mt. Ventoux and be close to the perched village of Sault, lavender central!  Explore the other side of Mt. Ventoux as well as seeing this scenic area from the summit. Visit chic St. Rémy-De-Provence near the asylum where Vincent Van Gogh spent a year and painted such masterpieces as Starry Night and the Olive  Groves.  Discover Roman ruins, stroll back in time as you cross a Roman bridge from a modern animated market to a medieval hilltop fort, all in one charming village.   We often enjoy outdoor dining on the terrace or lounge by the pool at the end of the day.

Join us this summer and experience Provence not as a tourist, but as a local for 10 days.  Our village is off the tourist path.  A local wine tasting, new markets in Bedoin, Villes-sur-Auzon and the top antiques market in France, Isle-sur-la-Sorgue with it's picturesque water wheels are on the itinerary.    We often invite french friends over to join us for a meal and are sometimes invited to local homes as well.

Once you arrive, unpack and relax and make this your home for the next 10 days.  We have been organizing and operating these small group tours for 15 years now!   (Maximum group size is 12).   Make this your summer home as we explore the sensory and sensual delights of Provence, more as a local than a tourist.
