New Mexico is blessed with stunning desert landscapes, breathtaking snowcapped mountains, bubbling hot springs, and remarkable national monuments. We visit this “the Land of Enchantment.” just as the cottonwoods provide a stunning palette for this plein air workshop.
Popular instructor and accomplished artist, Trisha Adams will be your instructor. She has led numerous painting trips to France, Italy, Australia and domestically for years. Her dynamic painting style and vibrant palette are perfect for the New Mexico landscape and her lessons, critiques and the personal attention she offers in this small group setting is priceless.
Unpack and relax as we stay all week at a beautiful ranch near Abiquiu with incredible views of the Chama river running right through the property. You can literally see the golden cottonwoods right from the dining room table and porch. There are endless views to paint right from the ranch.
Visit nearby Ghost Ranch and paint in the gully where Georgia O'Keefe found her inspiration on a private tour with guide. Explore Abiquiu and the surrounding vistas. We will also enjoy a day trip to visit the galleries in Santa Fe. .
Workshop includes: 7 nights lodging on a private ranch, all transportation (including airport pickups and drop-offs in Albuquerque and Santa Fe*), breakfast daily, all meals (except 3 lunches when we are away from the ranch), all sightseeing fees and art instruction. Airfare is not included. $3500 per person double occupancy. Non-painting companion rate $3100 per person double occupancy.
