Walk in the footsteps of Cezanne and Van Gogh as you learn art history and the methods of these masters in the places where they practiced their art! Adrienne will make history come alive in these historical spots and guide you through galleries and sites where many of your favorite paintings were created. We’ll visit the studio of Cezanne, see his work at the museum in beautiful Aix-en-Provence, visit the asylum where Van Gogh spent a year and much more. Your hostess, Josie has 25 years of experience in this area and can show you the best places to paint and visit. Adrienne will provide instruction at our painting sites and at the villa. Much of the equipment needed is available at the villa in France so you can just bring brushes, paints, panels or canvas and leave the rest to us. Our small group will stay in the same villa for 8 nights with daily excursions so you can unpack and relax. To see photos of previous trips check out “images” and “about”on the website.
Tour includes: 8 nights lodging in private home/villa, all transportation (including Marseille airport and Avignon train station pickups and drop-offs), breakfast daily, 1 meal per day (lunch or dinner), all sightseeing fees and art instruction. *International airfare is not included. $3250 per person dbl. occupancy.
