Martin Campos Workshop
Painting in Provence,
May 14-22, 2023
Arsenio Martin Campos, painter and fine arts instructor will return to Provence in May of 2023 to lead a workshop in a beautiful spot near the village of Lacoste in the Luberon Region of Provence France. The focus this year will be the figure in the landscape as well as larger format painting in combination with small sketches done in the field.
Last year at this time the poppies were in bloom, the weather delightful and the property itself magical. Join us this year to learn new skills from this highly regarded instructor in this amazing setting.
Paint in medieval hilltop villages of the Luberon, well known from the "Year in Provence" books, and enjoy our amazing centuries old villa located between Lacoste and Bonnieux. Enjoy local wine tasting, both at home with our meals and at a nearby winery, and experience the joie-de-vivre of a local market. We provide all transportation from the moment you land in France through your entire tour. This will be our 16th year organizing tours in this area, so relax and focus on your art in a magical place that artists have always found inspiring. Tour price: $3,350 based on double occupancy. Triple rate also available. Room choice based on reservation date.
Workshop includes: 8 nights lodging in private home/villa, all transportation (including Marseille airport and Avignon train stations transfers), breakfast daily, plus lunch or dinner daily, all sightseeing fees and art instruction. *International airfare is not included. We pick up and drop off at the Marseille Provence airport and the Avignon TGV train station. (Please consult us regarding arrival and departure times for group coordination). A limit of 10 students guarantees maximum time with your instructor. About Martin:
As an instructor at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia, Fleisher Art Memorial, the Washington Studio School and the Wayne Art Center, Martin is a highly-regarded teacher and artist. Mr. Campos experience includes workshops in South Africa, New Zealand, Dublin, Spain, many cities in the US and in 2019 with us in France.
