This extraordinary workshop celebrates Sorolla’s luminous style, showcasing his mastery of capturing the fleeting effects of sunlight, dramatic mountains, and the crystal-clear sea—elements that have drawn artists to this beautiful location for generations.
About the Retreat:
Set in a stunning villa perched atop the village, our accommodations offer panoramic views of majestic mountains and spacious grounds which are perfect for outdoor painting. Enjoy easy strolls to local beaches and charming restaurants, immersing yourself in the authentic Mallorca experience. Most of the painting sessions will take place within Cala San Vicent, but we’ll also enjoy a special day trip to the historic city of Pollença, with dinner out in the city.
Meet Your Instructor: Thomas Jefferson Kitts
Thomas brings a wealth of painting experience, having studied and practiced many of Sorolla’s methods. He is an exceptional teacher, skilled in guiding artists at all levels, with a friendly approach that encourages growth and exploration.
